Sylvie Abate is an award-winning folk and Americana songwriter and musician. Her work has earned honors from the Global Music Awards, the Independent Music Awards, and the W.A.M. Awards.

A classically trained guitarist, Sylvie studied at the Hartt School of Music and the New England Conservatory, and has performed with ensembles like the Austin Classical Guitar Ensemble, the Providence Mandolin Ensemble and indie groups such as Celticity, The BeeKeepers, and Sylvie & Mandy. She has played at notable festivals and venues across New England.

Beyond music, Sylvie is a passionate animal rights advocate, vegan enthusiast, and founder of Artists & Activists Records, an Austin-based label dedicated to promoting music that supports animal rights.
